LKAS Repair is a service of Smith Diagnostics, Prescott, Arizona. This page explains what we collect when you use this site and order a repair, and what we do with it.

What we collect

• Your order: your vehicle's VIN, name, email, phone number and shipping address, and whether you asked for help finding a local shop (with your ZIP code).
• Payment: card payments are handled by Stripe on Stripe's own checkout page. We never see or store your card number.
• How you found us: the ad or link you came from (for example a Google Ads click ID or campaign tags) and the page you landed on, stored with your order.
• Analytics and advertising tags: if enabled, Google and Meta tags record visits to measure our advertising. They set cookies in your browser. We also set one cookie of our own to keep the price you see consistent between visits.

How we use it

To check your vehicle is one we can repair (the VIN is decoded through the U.S. government's NHTSA vehicle database), buy shipping labels (through our shipping provider), email you about your order, keep accounting records, and measure which advertising works. If you ask for a shop referral, we share your ZIP code and vehicle with the shop we introduce you to.

We don't sell your information.

How long we keep it

Order records are kept as long as we need them for accounting and tax purposes.

Questions or deletion requests

Reply to any email from us and we'll answer, or delete what we're not required to keep.
